my journey to elopement photography

The core of my journey.

Telling your story

I'm originally from Estonia, but now I've made my home in the beautiful city of Reykjavík, Iceland. Photography and traveling have always been two of my greatest passions, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have turned both into a fulfilling profession that I love.

My deep love for photography began way back in the 6th grade when I received my very first small camera. Although I wasn't a professional back then, I was always drawn to capturing the genuine, raw emotions and fleeting moments in people, rather than those stiff, forced "smile for the camera" shots. This passion has only grown stronger over the years.

"Most meaningful memories come from unscripted, heartfelt moments"

As for why I chose Iceland, it's because I met my husband here. He's also Estonian, but he was living and working in Iceland when we first crossed paths, and this is where our love story began. It's also when I fell in love with this beautiful country. From that moment on, we always had a plan to make Iceland our home, which we did, along with our two amazing kids.

We love living here, surrounded by this unreal beauty every day. We enjoy going camping, driving around Iceland taking photos, visiting as many geothermal pools as we can, and just savoring everyday life, spending time in nature and with our family.

I firmly believe that photographs hold a unique power to preserve memories like nothing else. I'm here to listen to your story and capture the exciting and romantic moments, so you can cherish them for years to come!

At the heart of what I do.

I picked up my first camera when I was around 11 or 12. At the time, it was just a “soapbox” camera I found lying around, but it unlocked a world of perspective for me. Over the years, that simple act of photographing people just as they were became a passion and eventually a career. I decided to go all in and pursue photography professionally in 2021, embracing a journey that felt as natural as breathing.
Studying psychology and being introverted myself, I understand how important it is to create a comfortable, pressure-free environment. This is why I feel a strong connection to intimate celebrations and elopements, where people can feel truly seen, rather than staged. My approach is about bringing your story to life in a way that feels genuine and true—whether it's capturing the quiet, shared moments or documenting the landscape of emotions you experience together.

Today, I have the privilege of working with couples who want a day focused on connection, romance, and the beauty of Iceland’s vast landscapes. My husband and I both feel at home in Iceland, and we understand the appeal of a day spent in quiet adventure, where you’re free to be yourselves without the weight of tradition.

In this career, what I love most isn’t just the images but the connections and stories that stay with me. When I imagine myself decades from now, I want to look back knowing I’ve been a part of moments that truly mattered, capturing memories that still feel alive. I’m here to photograph more than just an event; I’m here to document a day that feels like an honest reflection of who you are together.
