This policy explains what personal information I collect through carolinevabrit.is, why I collect it, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email info@carolinevabrit.isand I'll explain.
I'm Caroline, running this site and my photography business — Caroline Photography ehf. (Kt. 470325-1190) — based in Reykjavík, Iceland, offering elopement, engagement, and wedding photography.
When you fill in the inquiry form on this site, I (via my booking platform, Dubsado) collect:
When you browse the site, Google Analytics automatically collects your approximate location, device and browser type, and which pages you visit, so I can understand how the site is used. I don't collect payment information on this website — bookings and deposits are handled separately, directly with me.
Your inquiry details are stored in Dubsado, the CRM I use to manage bookings, and your browsing data is processed by Google Analytics. Both are based in the United States, outside the EU/EEA. I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone else.
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to recognise repeat visits and measure site usage. These aren't used for advertising, and no other tracking cookies are set.
I keep inquiry details for as long as needed to plan and deliver your session, and for a reasonable period afterwards for my own records. Analytics data is retained by Google according to their standard retention settings.
Under Icelandic and EU data protection law, you can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you. Email info@carolinevabrit.is and I'll sort it out. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can complain to Persónuvernd, the Icelandic Data Protection Authority.
