Locations, timing, vendors — I'll guide you through all of it. You'll get my elopement guide, my map, and honest advice every step of the way.

You get married
By the time we get here, every detail is sorted. You just show up and be in Iceland together. The photos happen because of that — not the other way around.

Common questions
Before you reach out.
How many guests can we have?
As many or as few as you want. Some couples elope with just the two of them and an officiant. Others bring a small group of close family. There's no rule — it's your day.
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally 6–12 months, especially for summer (June–August) which fills up fast. That said, I sometimes have openings on shorter notice — always worth asking.
What if the weather is terrible?
Rain, wind, and moody skies are part of what makes Iceland feel like Iceland — and honestly, some of my favourite photos have come from the wildest days. I wouldn't suggest cancelling or postponing for weather alone. That said, if conditions are genuinely dangerous or a road is officially closed, we'll figure it out together — whether that's adjusting the timing, changing the location, or finding a new day.
What if we don't know where we want to go?
Most couples don't when they first reach out — and that's completely fine. Once I know a bit about you, what kind of landscape draws you in, how adventurous you want to be, I'll share my location guide and full galleries from different parts of Iceland so you can actually get a feel for the places before deciding. We'll find the right one together.
Do we need legal documents to get married in Iceland?
Yes — Iceland requires a Certificate of No Impediment from your home country, plus some paperwork submitted to the Registers Iceland office in advance. Some couples handle the legal side at home before they arrive, others do it all in Iceland — either way works perfectly.
Do we need to sort accommodation and travel ourselves?
Yes, though I'll help. You'll get my full Iceland travel guide with accommodation recommendations, and I'm always happy to look over your itinerary and give honest advice on what works and what doesn't.
