Photography
They don't just hire me to be there with a camera. They hire me because they need someone to tell them exactly where to go, when the light is right, how many people will be around, where to stand, and how to play it without giving anything away.
I've picked up flowers at 7am and kept them cold on a five-hour drive to Diamond Beach. I've waited in a parking lot for an hour while they arrived. I've rerouted plans the morning of when roads closed. That's the job — not just showing up with a camera, but making sure the whole thing actually works.
I've done this over a hundred times. I know where to stand, how to stay out of the way, and exactly what happens in the seconds after she says yes. The couples who hire me want someone who makes the whole thing work — not just a camera showing up on the day.
Get in touch →What she gets
The moment
The question, her reaction, the first few seconds. Shot from a distance so she never sees me coming.
Everything after
The celebration, the happy chaos, the two of you together. Those images are just as important as the proposal itself.
Iceland as backdrop
There is nowhere else on earth that looks like this. The landscape does more for a photo than any studio ever could.
Every package includes
Location advice
I recommend the right spot for your date, the light, and what you want to capture — and tell you exactly when to arrive.
Proposal logistics
Where to position her, how to play it, what to do in the moment. I've done this enough times to know what works.
Weather flexibility
If conditions change, we adapt. I check the forecast and reach out — you're never left guessing.
Full hand-edited gallery

★★★★★
"She went above and beyond to help organise the perfect surprise proposal. Her expertise and passion are very evident — she knew exactly where to position me, when to move, and how to stay hidden. The photos are extraordinary."
— Maggie & Ian
How it works
Send a message
Tell me your travel dates and roughly what you have in mind. No pressure, no commitment yet.
I suggest the right plan
Based on your dates and where you're going in Iceland, I'll recommend the right package and location. I know what works and what doesn't — and I'll tell you exactly why.
Reserve your date
A 30% retainer holds your date. From there we start planning together — location, timing, how to keep it a surprise, everything.
We confirm the details
The week before, we talk through the plan — weather, timing, where to meet, how to play it. A few days out I check in again. You're never left wondering if everything is on track.
The day
I arrive early and wait until you're ready — she won't suspect a thing. I stay out of sight until the moment, then document everything: the question, her reaction, the celebration after.

Common questions
Won't she see you?
I get there before you and wait for you to arrive. Then I follow at a distance and look like any other tourist with a camera — I'm not crouching in a bush. A long lens does the rest, so I can stay well back and still get close-up shots. She won't realise what's happening.
How far in advance should I book?
Summer dates (June–August) book 6–10 months ahead. Spring and autumn, 3–5 months is typical. Winter is more flexible. If you have a specific date or location in mind, the sooner the better.
What if the weather is terrible?
Iceland weather is part of the deal — and honestly, part of what makes the photos look the way they do. I have backup plans for every location and will problem-solve on the day. We don't reschedule for rain.
What if they suspect something?
It happens. Usually a cover story works — a hike, a sunset walk. I'll help you plan something believable. In the 80+ proposals I've done, the surprise has never been fully ruined.
