Romantic Engagement in Iceland – Nauthúsagil & Reynisfjara

Alexa and Michael’s Iceland engagement photos were filled with magic — from walking through waterfalls to standing on black sand with the sea behind them.

They’re planning a wedding where everyone will wear black — and these romantic, slightly moody photos are going to be part of that bold, stylish celebration. This session was full of genuine joy and movement: walking through dripping water, changing clothes in a cave, and laughing their way back across the stream with soaked feet and huge smiles.

We started in the mossy, tucked-away canyon of Nauthúsagil — full of Lord of the Rings vibes and soft filtered light — and ended at the famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara, with its towering cliffs and wild ocean backdrop.
