On November 6th, Ryan surprised Beth with a proposal at the edge of Sólheimajökull glacier—a quiet, blue-toned world of ice where the only sounds were wind and crackling glacial water. She said yes, and the moment unfolded with pure emotion: tears, laughter, and the kind of joy you feel even from behind the camera.
We wandered along the glacier lagoon afterward, taking in the ice layers, reflections on the water, and the dark volcanic textures that make this place so uniquely Iceland. They wrapped up together against the cold, danced a little, and simply existed in their moment—engaged in one of the most surreal landscapes on earth.
A proposal like this doesn’t need big crowds or a city skyline. Sometimes, just two people, Icelandic ice, and a ring is enough.
