After months of planning, we decided on Múlagljúfur Canyon as the main location, with a few backup spots in case the weather didn’t cooperate. Despite her initial nerves about the wind, moss turning brown, and the challenging hike, Kirsten and Joe decided to embrace Iceland’s raw beauty in autumn.

The day started bright and early, with Kirsten getting her hair and makeup done in Vík. Meanwhile, I began my nearly 5-hour drive to meet them at the trailhead. Even with the long journey, I couldn’t wait to meet this adventurous couple and capture their love story.
